Rolling out the Welcome Wagon for Park Circle’s Newest Homeowners

Fall has arrived—and so have some of our newest Park Circle residents! As Harvest Park and the Hangout await their final touches, the community is sprouting with life. The Porches by Beazer Homes has been a popular neighborhood, with its picturesque front porches that overlook the playful expanse of lawn in the center of 2.6-acre Harvest Park. We reached out to three families who chose to purchase their new homes from Beazer, and asked them what drew them to The Porches, and what they love most about their new homes.

Meet the families

First, we have Julie and Matt, who were renters for 20 years. They have two kids—one in high school, and one that just started college. Fun fact, Julie is all the way from Australia! Next up is Megan, chef and first-time homebuyer, who decided to purchase a home with her mom. And finally, there’s Paula and Austin, who have one young son—and a brand-new baby! They work in the healthcare industry, and they are the very first family to close on their home in Park Circle’s first phase. We love our Park Circle pioneers!

“We did the online tours of the Beazer homes and decided to come and do a walkthrough and were really impressed with each of the designs and could see our family living here. It was also close to where our daughter would be going to school. We were really excited about being part of this new community.”

Nowhere no more

No matter how they heard about Park Circle—whether Facebook, word of mouth, or a simple Google search for new homes in San Diego—Valley Center felt like an undiscovered gem just begging to be explored.

Center of the action

When we asked everyone which community amenity they were most excited about, all parties were in agreement—The Hangout + Harvest Park take the cake. Poolside summers, here we come. It’s no surprise to us that the pool and fitness center are so highly sought after, especially when these homeowners are surrounded by acres of lush grass, ample space to play, and the best view to sit back and watch the community blossom—literally and figuratively. The Hangout will be opening later this fall—we can’t wait!

Floor plan faves

Per homebuyers’ requests, Beazer’s home designs emphasize open and flexible spaces. Their downstairs living area layouts with central kitchens are a family favorite. The floor plans are perfect for family gatherings, and the kids love the extra spaces to spread out. (They also enjoy the privacy of their own spacious bedrooms.) Did we mention the Camarillo’s primary bedroom deck? It’s a game changer!

“I fell in love with the Camarillo model, especially the upstairs porch. It checked all of the boxes for me. As a chef, my favorite room is the kitchen, but I also love my walk-in closet. And the tandem garage has actually been a great benefit for storage.”
—Megan

“We really liked the design options Beazer provided. They were exactly what we were looking for. From flooring to cabinets. We really appreciated the options. We also really appreciated that it was going to be a clean energy home and we had the option for solar.”

Why Buy

We understand that buying a home is a huge decision, which is often very personal. We love learning why residents chose to stop renting. It often comes down to a reason that resonates deeply with Park Circle and Touchstone Communities—family.

“It was a personal goal of mine to purchase a house by the time I was 30 years old. I had taken care of my grandparents for the last 15 years, and my grandmother passed away July 2020. At that point, I figured that now is the time to move on with my goal after being there for my family the last 15 years as a caretaker.”
—Megan

“Our daughter was going to start university and our options were to continue living in Orange County and renting there while also paying for her accommodation, or we could move together as a family and invest in our collective future. It just made more financial sense to invest in this property in Park Circle.”
